MY TENNIS BACKGROUND
I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old and played Junior County Tennis up to 18U playing regional and national level events. I have been coaching for 20 years working at all levels. I enjoy working with beginners as well as top level players. I am a County Cup Captain with two SE 10U National winners medals and have coached juniors that have gone on to play county, national and international level. I am enjoying playing for Queens in the doubles leagues at the moment.

I started coaching at my local club and quickly gained experience
through working with local schools and developing great relationships with senior coaches in order to develop my skills further. While at university, I studied sports coaching which helped me gain a greater understanding of coaching across many age groups and abilities and different sports.
MY ROLE AT THE CLUB
I am the Head Coach and manage all aspects of the coaching programmes. I work across all areas of the programme and am available for private coaching with all levels.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe in developing solid technique and skills as well as building a strong work ethic, resilience and love of the game in my players. My aim is to always teach through playing the game, so everything I do is game-based as much as possible.

MY TENNIS BACKGROUND
I have been tennis coaching for over 18 years gaining experience across various sports including football, tennis and strength & conditioning. As a tennis player, I started playing when I was 16 years old and very quickly fell in love with the sport, working my way up through local, county and national league level. I competed for 3 years in the university divisions at national level gaining experience playing some of the best players in the country.

I am involved in most areas of tennis including junior and adult development. My main role at Queens Sports Club is to continually develop players and provide the opportunity for players to develop their game.

My skill set is mainly focused on junior tennis where I aim to build the foundations a player needs to go on and reach the level that they want to achieve. I also provide a stringing service for the club, which I have over 18 years of experience in.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Over the years I have learned that my passion lies in working closely with juniors and adults and helping them reach their potential and develop a love for tennis. Since coaching within the queens Sports Club programme, I have developed a great relationship with players and parents and feel like that my skill set is something that complements the club.

Within the coaching programme, my ideology is to develop the fundamentals & ABCs so that players have a strong foundation of which to thrive and go on to reach their full potential. I am also a big advocate for coach development and regularly look to gain more experience to maintain the high standards that I set for myself.
