Squash yourself fit in 2016 with Queens Sports Club and drop a dress size, starting with our FREE open squash day for women only (14 years +) . This exciting open day aims to give as many ladies as possible the chance and opportunity to have a go at playing squash, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player. Running and taking part in the event will be Sarah Kippax, a professional squash player for over a decade, with a career high ranking of Word No.15, having represented England at all levels, she is “extremely keen to introduce more females to the game.”

Squash is a very energetic sport, a great way to burn plenty of calories, drop a dress size and to tone up and get fit, sounds promising if you want to burn off those Christmas mince pies this January, all whilst allowing you to socialise with friends! You’ll burn more than 1,000 calories an hour through bending, jumping, lunging and twisting as you play this fast paced, exciting game.

The event will be running for free on Saturday 23rd of January at 1pm – 4pm, at the Queens Sports Club, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2XQ. (Females aged 14+) are welcome, particularly those who have a new years resolution to get fit!

I have been a gym member for 15 years. The gym is clean and friendly and the equipment is kept up to date on a regular basis. I like the personal attention that Brian gives the Early Birds. I like to use Brian's alternative workouts. They are changed every week and make gym sessions fun and varied.I also liked the 30,000 calories challenge where I met new people.
