The club has been decorated and we are well and truly into the Christmas spirit. If you don’t normally visit the bar area then go out of your way and see how Christmassy it looks!

The gym, following their very successful Club Awards, are well into their team Pud Burning exercises, making space for the Christmas fare. Any excess calories after the festive period can safely be removed by joining in the January Fitness Challenge! See Martin for further information, support, guidance, inspiration…!!!

Don’t worry if you are not a member of the gym…just get someone to buy you one of the Gym Gift Vouchers…. £25 for a six week session! Or £10 for a full day, making the most of all the club facilities.

Christmas Lunch
For those lucky enough to have a ticket for this years lunch don’t forget to bring your tickets along with you. There will be a prize draw! Remember the dress code is smart! Fizz and canapes are served from 12.30 onwards.

Christmas Eve
There will be the annual Sing a Long with Sunders on Christmas Eve. Come down for a pre-Christmas get together. Thursday 24th 7.00 start.

Night Market@Queens (NM@Q’s)
This is a big affair that will take place on Saturday 30th January. All sections of the club will be involved. Please save the date.

Starting at 6.00pm there will be a variety of stalls, food stations, exhibition matches, entertainment, children’s activities, beauty treatments, specialist practitioners and much, much more.

Look out for publicity which will be out soon.

John Young Trophy
This popular event is underway and the finals night will be held on Friday 15th January.

Winter Tennis Mixed Doubles Leagues
These are also underway…..matches have to be completed before the end of January and so all involved need to get started.

Cardio Tennis
This energetic work out has become increasingly popular. Mondays at 6.00pm there are a regular 12 participants, Wednesdays at 6.30pm around 6 regulars and on Fridays at 12.00 noon another 12 enthusiastic participants. Luckily our coach is able to cater for all ages, sizes and abilities. If you haven’t tried it yet then perhaps it should be on your New Year’s Resolution List!

I have been a gym member for 15 years. The gym is clean and friendly and the equipment is kept up to date on a regular basis. I like the personal attention that Brian gives the Early Birds. I like to use Brian's alternative workouts. They are changed every week and make gym sessions fun and varied.I also liked the 30,000 calories challenge where I met new people.
