Are you looking for tennis training ideas and exercises to help you on the court? From workouts to tennis exercise tips for footwork as well as overall strength, let us provide the tips and support.

Lets remember to get fit to play sport, not play sport to get fit, this way, we will enjoy the game more, and reduce the risk of injury.

The Calderdale Ladies Tennis Leagues start on the 28th April and once again we have entered 3 teams to give as many ladies as possible the opportunity to play.

All teams did very well last year and the B Team were promoted to the First Division; so they have now got a very hard job in front of them. Our A Team are also in the First Division!!

Our C Team is currently in the Third Division, but I know that Janette Thripland (who has kindly offered to manage the C Team) is keen to get promoted to the Second Division.

We have to play our ladies in ranking order and so the A Team always has first choice of players, followed by the B and then the C. Liz McHugh has kindly offered to manage the A Team and I will manage the B Team.

Wednesday

5:00 – 6:30 – Junior Performance (10yrs – 13yrs) (Invite Only)

Thursday

5:00 – 6:00 – Junior Performance (14yrs – 18yrs) (Invite Only)

Friday

5:00 – 6:30 – Mini Performance (9yrs – 12yrs) (Invite Only)

Wimbledon Ballot 2018

The British Tennis Member ballot for The Championships, Wimbledon 2018 is now open. If you’d like to enter the QSC Wimbledon Ballot next year, visit the website here www.LTA.ORG.UK and login with your British Tennis Member password and ‘OPT-IN’ to the Ballot. If you’re not a BTM, you can also sign-up FREE on the website.

The more members who ‘OPT-IN’, the more tickets are allocated to our club for our Ballot, and if you don’t ‘opt-in’ on-line  – you cannot enter the club Ballot

I have been a member at Queens for 45 years. I started playing squash as a teenager and joined the gym when I finished playing squash. I enjoy coming to the early gym session. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and I have made good friends here.
